Our current President, Adam Reibel, and President-Elect, Brodie Farrell-Oates, are in their thirties and started out as NextGen members before stepping into two of the club's senior roles.

Adam in Action: Two Big Wins for Public Image, District-Wide
As District 9830's Director of Public Image, our President Elect Adam Reibel has had a busy few weeks — and both projects show exactly why his professional skills are such an asset to Rotary.
Telling Our Story to the Next Generation
In recent weeks, Adam conceived, developed, and supervised the filming of a new PR campaign for the Rotary Clubs of Tasmania, produced in partnership with Digital Ink. The campaign is squarely aimed at engaging under-45s — speaking directly to the audience Rotary most needs to reach if our clubs are to thrive for the next 60 years. Equipping Local Business with Real Skills
The second project paired professional polish with practical generosity. Funded by a Rotary Foundation District Grant, Adam organised a workshop with Lady Jo for ten local business operators, focused on building stronger online presence, helping customers find them, and exploring how AI can boost efficiency. Real tools, immediately useful — a great example of Rotary's "Service Above Self" in action.
Both projects reflect Adam's ability to bring genuine professional expertise to volunteer leadership, multiplying Rotary's impact across the district.

At the recent Rotary South Pacific conference, our President Elect Adam Reibel spoke as a Public Image specialist and took part in a panel of young professionals.  He also took part in a direct private discussion with Rotary International President Elect Yinka Babalola.  
To have those opportunities, Adam, like all Rotarians, took part in a voluntary capacity.  We thank all our NextGen members for the time and money they put in to influence the shape of Rotary in this part of the world.

Adam also shares his ideas about telling the world about Rotary in other ways.  In 2025 he was session guest speaker in a Virtual Vocational Exchange coming out of Hong Kong, a wonderful cost-free way for young Rotarians to connect.

When you join a Rotary club, you belong to a worldwide organisation and can attend meetings in over 200 countries. Each year there is an international convention to which all Rotary members are invited.  In 2024 and 2023 Adam and Ros were presenters on breakout panels at the Rotary International conventions in Singapore and Melbourne respectively.
